The webinar will share findings from a survey of more than 1,200 teen drivers in 26 states which explored their attitudes, behaviors, and knowledge in relation to distracted driving. Key factors that motivate and influence teen’s decisions to drive distracted will be highlighted along with who influences their decisions the most. Results for different age categories ranging from 14-20 years will be compared and contrasted to illustrate how attitudes and behaviors evolve as teen drivers gain more experience behind the wheel as well as how they perceive that experience. Implications of these findings for distracted driving interventions will also be discussed.
