Tractor trailers, heavy trucks, tankers, and other commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) are a common feature of America’s vast road network. Whether it be a large, urban metropolis, a medium-sized city, or a small, rural community, many of the goods and essential items brought to our stores and our doors probably arrive in a heavy truck. This means that wherever you drive, you are almost guaranteed to be sharing the road with these vehicles. This is a growing concern for some employers.

The webinar also serves as a platform to educate the traveling public about how to safely share the road with commercial drivers and particularly novice drivers. The roundtable is moderated by Robyn Robertson, NDDC Chair, and features speakers from members of the NDDC Steering Committee, which is made up of industry, legislative, advocacy, law enforcement and government professionals.
