Information: October 20, 2022, is the first-ever national Do Not Disturb While Driving Day. This day is to highlight the continuing danger of using a cell phone while driving, and to educate the public on how technology can help stop distractions.

NTSB and NDDC: Act to End Distracted Driving Webinar
Information about Webinar: On April 13, 2022, the NTSB, in conjunction with the National Distracted Driving Coalition (NDDC) hosted a virtual distracted driving roundtable to raise awareness about the continued dangers we face from distracted driving. The roundtable was facilitated by NTSB Vice Chairman Bruce Landsberg and featured speakers from NDDC Committee Members, and focused on three key components needed to end distracted driving: education, legislation, enforcement, technology, and the use of the Safe System Approach.
